Tunisia’s trade deficit jumps to a record $8.18bln in 2022

TUNIS – Tunisia’s trade deficit jumped to a record 25.210 billion dinars ($8.18 billion) in 2022, compared to 16.216 billion dinars in 2021, the state statistics institute said on Wednesday.

The deficit has been one of the main problems facing Tunisia as it grapples with an economic crisis.
