Africa: Covid-19 Recoveries Across Continent Near 9.9 Million

As of June 8, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  11,757,022 while  301,428,973 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  254,203 and  9,899,200 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of  3,970,993 and  101,397 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (1,171,034) , Tunisia (1,043,540 ), Egypt ( 515,645), Libya (502,016), Ethiopia (475,764), and Kenya ( 325,797 ).
